Event Accreditation Guidelines

EBAP accredits international events with clear educational value. This applies in particular to congresses, courses, seminars and research seminars. You will find below the number of CME credits for live events:

 60 minutes      

1 CME credit 

 1/2 day

3 CME credits (up to 4 with justification)

 Full day

6 CME credits (up to 8 with justification)

A cooperation agreement has been signed with the UEMS/EACCME. Under the terms of this agreement, all applications in the field of Pneumology will be evaluated by EBAP. EBAP will review the quality and independence of the CME events or products.

In this evaluation process, EBAP will work according to EACCME rules and will liaise with the UEMS/EACCME office for submission of the accreditation requests to the relevant National Accreditation Authority in order to obtain their recognition of the European Accreditation. Therefore, in addition to the EBAP administrative and accreditation fees, Providers will also be invoiced by EBAP for the EACCME fees as specified in its sliding scale. EBAP will remit the EACCME fee to the EACCME office who will undertake to forward one half to the relevant National Accreditation Authority.

It is first necessary to register as a CME provider in order to be able to apply for accreditation of an event. This is only done once. To register as a new provider, please fill in the Provider Registration Form.


 

Important information

Please ensure that your uploaded documents do not exceed 10 MB in total.

We recommend that you insert your e-mail address in the notification e-mail field at the bottom of the accreditation form. Our system will then send you a copy of your accreditation form by e-mail for your archives.

Should you have problems filling in the online accreditation form, kindly please contact EBAP office at ebap.info@ebap.org.

Once your application has been submitted, the EBAP office will confirm to you that everything is in order. If you do not receive any news from the EBAP office within 5 working days, please contact us at the above address to ensure that your accreditation request went through.



Standard EBAP forms

In order to help, EBAP has designed several standard forms (evaluation form, conflict of interest disclosure form, etc.). These documents are at your disposal to use and can be downloaded from the "Document Library" page of this website.


 

EACCME Compulsory Forms

Due to the signed agreement with the UEMS/EACCME, Providers are required to provide EBAP with two additional forms:

 EACCME Declaration on disclosure
 EACCME Director's declaration

Please complete and sign these two forms and upload them in the online application form below, in the section entitled "EACCME Declarations". These forms will be forwarded to the UEMS/EACCME.

Each accreditation request is checked and acknoledged by EBAP. If you do not hear from us within 5 working days, please contact us.
