The Annual Reviewers Party took place in Amsterdam on September 25th, 2011.

New Accreditation Application Guidelines

The revised 2010 Accreditatin Application Guidelines are now available online.

The main changes concern commercial support from pharmaceutical companies and the language in which meetings must be conducted.

2009

Cooperation Agreement signed with the UEMS/EACCME

EBAP had a very good start in 2009 and is pleased to announce that a cooperation agreement has been signed with the UEMS/EACCME.

Under the terms of this agreement, all applications in the field of Pneumology will be evaluated by EBAP. EBAP will review the quality and independence of the CME events or products.

In this evaluation process, EBAP will work according to EACCME rules and will liaise with the UEMS/EACCME office for submission of the accreditation requests to the relevant National Accreditation Authority in order to obtain their recognition of the European Accreditation.

EBAP at the ERS Congress

EBAP contest to win an ipod

This year, the EBAP stand at the ERS Congress was very animated. Visitors were given the oportunity to take part in a draw to win an ipod. Taking part was quite simple: a small questionnaire had to be filled in and returned to the EBAP staff on the stand. If all questions were answered correctly, the visitor's questionnaire was entered into the draw.

The draw took place on Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at 13:00 on the EBAP stand in the presence of Prof. Robin Stevenson, EBAP President. 
EBAP is happy to announce that the winner of the ipod this year is Dr. Hanns Moshammer from Austria. Congratulations from the EBAP team!

EBAP Reviewers' Party

On the same day, EBAP's 33 active reviewers from all over Europe were invited to join the Management Council for a cocktail party. It was a greatly appreciated oportunity to meet colleagues and exchange ideas about CME accreditation in Europe. EBAP wishes to thank its reviewers for all the hard work they have done throughout 2008.
